I am just a simple storyteller, a jack of all trades and a master of nothing.
Born in Hungary and raised in multiple countries, I have learned not just multiple Languages but got to understand multiple cultures from the inside while being an outsider. I believe all Humans regardless of race or belief are capable of good and bad, and I believe that until we cannot stop talking about our differences and start talking about our commonalities we are not going to progress. Having moved around so much during my lifetime the thing that stood out the most is how patriotic people do not hate foreigners, quite the contrary as long as you give added value they embrace you and feel proud that you chose their humble country to settle in for whatever reason. I asked a good friend/mentor Julian why he stood up when they played the National Anthem during an NHL Game even though he was Hungarian he responded: "Do you see this TV, this apartment, my Pickup, my great job, and the ribs on the table? They are all provided by this great Country. This is the least that I can do is to pay my respects". I was 12 when he told me this and I still carry this with me today. God Bless.
