American Artist living and working in Japan. I listen to mostly jazz when painting. Currently I'm mainly influenced by Japanese architecture, both contemporary and ancient. My artwork is in both private and Corporate collections in Europe, the U.K., Australia, Japan and North America.
Under the warm glow of the moon, I draw the ache of beauty, the bite of memory, and the touch of the otherworld ,softly, slowly, and sometimes a little scandalously.
I treat grief like it’s holy and lust like it’s sacred. I draw the in-between where love lingers, where love isn’t lost, only changed And yes, sometimes the ghost gets to stick around and flirt a little.
My main weapon of choice is digital illustration (Procreate on iPad), though I like to dabble in the physical too; pencil, ink, colored pencil, gouache I like to try anything at least once.
