* I am the widow of an LEO, who passed away due to a terminal illness.
* I am the proud mother of an Executive Assistant and a United States Marine.
* I am a former special education teacher.
* I am diagnosed with a number of chronic medical issues, including severe migraines, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune disorders, as well as anxiety and PTSD, just to name a few.
* I am the survivor of sexual assault and attempted murder.
* While all of these describe me, they do not define me.
