The most I could say for sure about RID is 'if' they plan to make more they have not said as much yet except very oblique references that go back to the time they were differing about how long the current (forth-coming) and previous seasons were going to be length wise. Now by all means take this with a sack of salt - as this is just my idle talk. But it seems that what happened is they reduced the previous season in length dropping the last part of the original story template completely - they then realised the Movies were not out for a while so they couldn't kill it off completely yet and leave themselves with nothing to market their toys off the back of other than re-runs - so they planned to do a "TV Movie" / Straight to Home Video thing - that was similar to Predacons Rising conceptually speaking. For some reason that changed and said TV movie became a short conclusion season instead. 'IF' They make even more RID "Or I direct sequel in the same style" it might not even be set on Earth at all and the Decepticon Prisoner plot will be done and finished up in Combiner Force. But if they do decide to keep it going then it will likely change a lot. I suppose the info is out there somewhere as certain contracts need to be signed and staff retained - so even following all the voice actors on Twitter would be a big clue to if the show is gone for good after Combiner Force. But it looks like that will signal the end of the current story.
