Lahore Fort is a citadel in the city of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Built in 1566 by the Mughal Empire it underwent an almost complete rebuild during the 17th century to improve upon its design and defenses. While there is evidence that a mud brick fort did occupy the area in the 11th century, this design that came after it manages to fuse both Islamic and Hindu motifs into its architectural style. Sunset at Mono Lake in Mono County, California. The lake itself was formed at least 760,000 years ago as a terminal lake inside the areas natural endorheic basin. Due to the lack of outlets the lake has gained a reputation for extremely high salt levels, and helping to contribute to its beautiful geological features.
