Helena Weston
@helenaweston Im a wife, mother, grandmother and a believer. John 14:6 I love life and try to bring positivity to a fallen world. @chrismadzier RIP 2-24-67-12-22-21 You will be truly missed my buddy. Minds member since April 2018.
Under the warm glow of the moon, I draw the ache of beauty, the bite of memory, and the touch of the otherworld ,softly, slowly, and sometimes a little scandalously.
I treat grief like it’s holy and lust like it’s sacred. I draw the in-between where love lingers, where love isn’t lost, only changed And yes, sometimes the ghost gets to stick around and flirt a little.
My main weapon of choice is digital illustration (Procreate on iPad), though I like to dabble in the physical too; pencil, ink, colored pencil, gouache I like to try anything at least once.

FREEDOM isn’t free. The price must be paid, not just to win it, but to keep it.
"Freedom has cost too much blood and agony to be relinquished at the cheap price of rhetoric."
— Thomas Sowell

"Taxation is theft, purely and simply—even though it is theft on a grand and colossal scale which no acknowledged criminals could hope to match. It is a compulsory seizure of the property of the State’s inhabitants, or subjects."
— Murray N. Rothbard
