"The pioneers get all the arrows"
My first calling was as a musician and songwriter...I was fortunate enough to have a good run...Some songs from a friend of mine you never heard but might like...

Friend of mine once told me this lyric should be stitched on a pillow:
"I believe that life is for living and love is the axis on which we turn
We bare our souls till all is forgiven
and clothe ourselves with the lessons learned"

A favorite quote from a favorite author:
โA human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.โ
โ Robert A. Heinlein
...and one I saw on a studio wall in Nashville:
โNever attempt to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.โ
โ Robert Heinlein, Time Enough for Love
OK...one more...
โA dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.โ
โ Robert A. Heinlein, Friday

I am an older gentleman now in retirement. I have paid my dues to the thieves in suits and hope that I can survive my remaining years while retaining whatever human(e)ity I have left. I don't take vaccines or meds and have not seen a Doctor in over 20 years and surprise, surprise, I am still very much alive and kicking.
Author, social pariah/critic commenting on the fall of American society, the great reset, globalism, materialism, spirituality, sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll. Not necessarily in that order.
