This is a new show. I will be showcasing the good people on Minds - the creators and the bright lights. This will NOT be a podcast, but a well written BLOG to promote the brightest channels on Minds. A positive reflection to showcase and promote the goodness of people and an endorsement of the creators, authors, and artists on Minds.
This is the first of twelve interview style episodes called "Isn't that a Daisy?" This phrase originated from the film "Tombstone" and is quoted from the character Doc Holliday that was played by Val Kilmer. The term 'daisy' was often used towards anyone that provoked challenge towards him. Whether he was playing cards or battling in a gun fight it was a common term used during the 1870's and used several times in the movie.
A daisy is a plain, but pretty flower. The phrase itself meant 'marvelous' or the 'cream of the crop'. These interviews will showcase the 'cream of the crop' and the most marvelous channels on Minds.
The world of Minds holds many daisies. Beautiful creators, artists, and writers. Minds is a bouquet of lovelies that can be easily found with the right search, but few are as vibrant as W.D. Lady.
W.D. Lady has been on Minds since 2017. She is one of the humble writers here trying to make a living through promoting her published works and merchandise. We happened to meet by providence and became kindred hearts.
W.D. Lady is special as a channel. She has an iron will, yet a gentle and kind heart. She’s no pushover and does not tolerate trolls, so she never asks for help. Take a look at her channel and hit that subscribe button!
She is also a loyal and faithful friend. When she is needed, she will drop everything to help. That speaks volumes of her character.
In December 2021, a close friend really needed help in starting a new podcast because she had planned a special show for Christmas. She did not have an editor or a co-host at that time. W.D. Lady volunteered her help and not only co-hosted, but helped edit the podcasts. She took time out of her very hectic schedule just to help a friend in need. Here are links to Christmas Show 1 & Christmas Show 2.
W.D. Lady is a working author/creator/writer. She works very difficult day jobs, but she also writes and publishes books like many self-published indie authors. Her big break has not arrived, but she is not giving up or giving in to the pressures of this industry. The fact that she is so busy with life makes her a true Daisy in this exposé.
As part of this interview, I actually put together some Q/A for W. D. Lady. Here’s the questions and her answers:
1) What are your stories about? Can you summarize them?
Nightmarish Reality Book Series is about a boy, who suffers from these nightmares and he doesn't know what's causing them. He uses a pen and a journal to try to piece together certain events. Vol. 1 focuses on Zander's life and interactions at school and the people he encounters. Vol. 2 is more focused on new characters such as Devon L. Fisher and Rue Chang. Who they are, how they connect to Zander, and where they come from Vol. 3 is more about Zander and his own group of rejects in Highschool.
2) Where did you come up with the stories?
I came up with Nightmarish Reality in high school. I was having these nightmares every day and decided to write them down. From that, I wrote experimental blogs on Myspace and Livejournal at the beginning of social media platforms.
3) What or who is your greatest inspiration?
It used to be Steven Spielberg and Stephen King. I wanted to be both a writer and film director, creating my own movies at a studio.
4) What was the first story you ever wrote? How old were you when you wrote it?
The 1st story I ever wrote was Nightmarish Reality. I was about 16 or 17 years old.
5) What is your advice to other aspiring authors?
My advice to new aspiring authors & writers - you should not be afraid to write your story. Don't be afraid to offend people and always be yourself. If you are too afraid that your story isn't perfect or you censor yourself too much, you'll never get very far in life. Stop worrying about what other people may think and just write your book.
These are the links and works of W.D. Lady. Here's some of the links for her books. Both books are on Amazon, but the 1st one is on Draft2Digital. I'm trying to get the sequel Ebook in D2D as well.
Her online store is at Zazzle. She has a Goodreads profile and her Chapter links are here: or Nightmarish Reality (Vol.1), Nightmarish Revelations (Vol.2), and some from Nightmarish Reaction (Vol.3).
Here's a blog about all the books (all 4 of them), the characters, the story/summaries, the controversy, and so on. There are some spoilers and character profiles, even though she does not have all their drawings.

Thank you, W.D. Lady for being my first guest in this new program. Being the first, means that not everything turns out exactly the way it is planned, so your graciousness was appreciated. I hope this new format works better than the old.
As some of you may have noticed I have changed the format into a Blog because Blogs allow for hyperlinks and multiple images. I have decided to use Blogs from now and into the future because most of my guests will have content, such as links and images, that will be easier to access in a Blog.
A Blog appears to be the best format for this program. The drawback will be that Blogs only boost to the sidebar and not to the news feed. However, I will still boost these interviews for 2 tokens and they will be available to "Quote" or "Remind" as guests desire. Stay tuned for more
