There is no such uncertainty as a sure thing. Robert Burns

Mr. Flashman's head had stopped bleeding with the honey on it. He was now a nice bold fellow. To recoup some of his fortune, he went out to sell some coins to pay off the renovations happening at his estate.

Mr. Flashman celebrated because selling just one of the gold coins was enough to splurge. Why? Mr. Flashman's cleverness was his attempt at saying I do not know to the right coin collector. Meaning? The face and language on the coin was foreign to most people. The gold however was purely 18 to 22 gold. Meaning the coin collector paid a premium. To own what Mr. Flashman assured him was something discovered a long way from England. Which was all true?

The party was interesting. Along with Tom Thumb as an attraction as a three foot fellow. There was an up-and-coming poet, Robert Burns. A socialite Anna Caffarelli, Andrew Holmes, Henry Lincoln etc,. Along with a variety of other social notables.

The party was wild. Dancing between the socialites was fun to watch. The discussion of politics along with business ventures. A few romantic couples taking a stroll through the estate’s garden. The small topic of course was a girl named Alice had been lost at an estate edge maze recently. That Ender spoke up asking if anyone had checked in any rabbit holes, everyone laughed.

Midway through the event, Mr. Flashman turned up all red faced. He summoned one of his servants and within a half an hour there was the constables. Someone had made off with one of Mr. Flashman’s gold coins.

That the constable searched each person’s person. The search was rather an embarrassing event to watch. However, the coin did not turn up. Mr. Flashman eyed Ender and his crew. That Ender had taken all the gold for his crew and shrunk it down. Then placing the gold within the miniature bottle of Black Skimmer. The thought never occurred to Mr. Flashman.

Mr. Flashman not being satisfied that we were not the criminal demand we be searched again. Which we were, and yet not a gold coin on us.

This disturbed him. For where would 2400 gold coins be hidden? At this time. The thief dawned on Ender and crew. The thief might be an attempt by Mr. Flashman to claim their gold from their past adventure together. So Ender and crew left.

Who stole Mr. Flashman’s coin? Or was Mr. Flashman trying to provoke a problem, who knows? Anyway during the party Ender had meet John Dee’s great grand son, and the two hit it off rather well. So Ender and crew left to England from the estate after being searched one more time. The crew taking the map. Ender left without the last discussion about the percentage of treasure returned to Mr. Flashman for the use of the map. Reaching John Dee’s noble grandson's house, Ender and crew were in for a surprise.

For the man had seen our whole adventure on a black stone like mirror. He claimed his great grandfather contacted fallen angels on the mirror.

That night a few of the socialites showed up and Ender and crew played a game of Kiss chase with a wild ending. It was.. wait for it. Legend dary.

The next day Ender and crew decided to sail from London England to France. The rationale was selling any of the coins in England might give Mr. Flashman a chance to call the authorities on the crew.
