L’insurrection est le plus saint des devoirs. Insurrection is the holiest of duties. This phrase was used in a speech on 20 February 20 1790 to the Constituent Assembly by Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, better known as Lafayette.

So. Ender and crew were off to France from England. The year was 1789 or thereabouts. For those reading the complete brief stories the reason a skip of a 100 years or so is quiet simple. The smaller a world is, the slower it becomes. Meaning? Thus in an enormous world or reality speed or time is moving much faster. Say what? Ender and crew were time travelers. The cook and Ender knew this. The two ladies and Tom Thumb? Maybe. So. Time travel was or is known a long time ago. The first cycle of humanity, to be exact. When or after Christ died and the Red Apple capitol never fell to the Muslims. Lets be honest, there was no false religion called Muslims in those realities. They discovered that speed and light could change perception of time. Along well with reality. Meaning? Battle of Hastings on actual time happened in 986 or earlier. To be honest, the teacher of this history is in doubt about the real time and what came first. While Ender and crew have traveled the worlds plural from where it happened in 1066 to 1006. The only date that seemed to matter to realize that the battle happened in a year with a six in it. Why? God controls time and calendars and seasons. Why? The secret is if it must be told is told about Babylon. God allowed humanity to go down the path of being isolated and lose their humanity. You have heard of mantas people and clones? Well, they are of a time older when Babylon was given their own way. When God let humanity do whatever weird crazy inhumane on itself.

Meaning? In one reality. I am good-looking person. Instead of a mean rough and tumble one-eyed, one footed pirate that steals candy from babes. And he is the terror of little children. That said, sailing from England to France with the Black Skimmer. Ender smuggled illegal contraband into France. Now what was illegal? Liquor, that was untaxed. So the smuggling was more of a revenue avoidance attempt. What was the cargo for a small Black Skimmer which was fast in yet could only hold a crew of 10? This time France for whatever reason was into English tea. Evidently there were riots there and tea had become something of a habit for some and scarce.

So with a ship cargo of tea off, the Black Skimmer and crew sailed. Now on this trip from England, a tutor going back to France accompanied us. With a Ms. de La Serre. Seemed like she had run away from home or something to that effect.

Anyway, during the nights the crew played a game of Senet. Senat is a game of strategy in which each player aims to get all their pieces off the board before their opponent. The first player to do this wins the game. However, since this is the romantic play on words get off might mean clothes etc for those into erotica wink, wink nudge nudge if you know what I mean.

Anyway, that was the night which lasted into the morning. In the morning we heard booms of a long gun. All of us getting to top side as fast as possible found that the French tariff ship was after us. The pleasurable thing about a skimmer or the Black Skimmer is the ship can run and glide in a depth of 2 feet close to shore. And that is exactly what we did. We let the sail out and as fast as we could sail away towards the shoreline. Which we did and got away rather fastly.

There we sailed a to a port harbor where the French government had lost control. Letting off our two passengers. Then exchanging our tea for tariff stamped paid liquor with fake stamps allowing us to enter the normal port of call without a problem.

We sailed smoothly back towards the port to which we originally had planned to go. The tariff ship again appeared. We let her crew board and showed the stamps and everything in order. Getting to the port of call Ender and crew debarked and shrank the ship with the liquor on it. As a crew we were off to Paris via stage coach.

We arrived right in time for a revolt. The streets were a mess. However, there was a bookstore in central Paris in which they camped for the night.

That night they bumped into the Claw and lady friend. Together they moved through the streets of a revolting city of Paris. Well, the time to sell liquor was at hand and so we opened up a liquor stand right outside the bookstore.
