Today is my birthday (hooray, go me) and while that isn't an achievement of any real note, it does serve as a hallmark for me personally in which I wanted to reach out to you in a very meaningful way.
Who are you to me you may ask? Well, whether you’re familiar with me and my work, or are a new individual stumbling upon this post for the first time, to me you’re the embodiment of human potential. Quite possibly you’re a fan, or a person rounding the corner "in the wings" about to become one. If nothing else, you’re an intelligent human being, capable of reading, and in a position to expand both your mind, and the world in which you live.
I write fiction, have done so for a long time now, and for the last seven or so months have been embarking upon a project I’d like to see flourish.
It’s been a learning process and as I’ve invested myself in it, I’ve seen my efforts grow from strength to strength.
It’s been enlightening. In terms of personal experience, it has been perhaps the first exploration into ambition I’ve ever taken. New influences into my life lead me to put dreams into action and start producing content I’d always been told I was capable of.
The journey, short though it is, has had its ups and downs. The hardships of a new enterprise, doubts of my own success, but also positive feedback and genuine support have opened me up to a world of new possibilities. Life has taken on a golden lining with which to reflect a shining light.
I am of course talking about my foray into the world of Episodic Fiction. I’ve found myself fallen into a category of people known as ‘Indie Authors’, though I’ve noticed my particular niche seems only populated by me. Currently I’ve produced eleven episodes of two major works of fiction- The Year Of The Bear, and Squib- two tales set in their own fantasy settings. These works are produced weekly and released in easily consumed portions of 800-2000 word episodes- suited to today's frothing Feed Warrior.
What’s more is my vision to expand these episodes into an audio format, so lovers of fiction can add them to their listening devices. An even easier and more accessible form of consumption for today's tech savvy individual- All things I love myself, which is why I’m so eager to give back.
So why share all this with you now, on my birthday? I decided I’d afford myself a gift. Reach out to my fellow human beings and ask for two things. It’s not something I’ve done in such a direct manner, but there’s a time and a place for everything, so this is now.
First: If you haven't read any of my works, please do so. Just to try it, see if you like it, leave a comment if you do, share and remind even if you don’t, so others might do the same. This will cost you nothing but would very much mean the world to me.

(Each has an episode register if you scroll down)
Should you let me know what you think, I’ll certainly be interested to let you know what I do in return.
Second: If you like what you’ve read, or even if you’re impartial, consider throwing me your support via my Patreon. If you can spare one dollar a month, please throw it my way!
I have goals for my art that require the support of a community. My vision consists of three parts.
The First is to produce quality episodic fiction, which I am currently doing and will be able to expand on the more support I get.
The Second is to turn that fiction from mere written to audio form, and I am primed to start doing that.
The third is to create a platform to support and promote other Indie Authors, incorporating parts one and two into that fold.
Obviously doing this requires a lot of time with the coupling of resources. Which is why I’d like to humbly request your consideration in supporting my project.
So there it is. Thank you for taking the time to read, and for indulging me on my Birthday. More importantly, thank you to all those who have supported me in my project already. It’s been a blast engaging with you all so far, and I look forward to the good times I see coming in the future.
Huzzah! :D
