Right now Chile is facing its most relevant social crisis in the last 50 years, although everything still works, there are protests and riots every day demanding the government to stop treating our education, health and pensions as another commodity to be exchanged on the market, that has turned them into businesses, colluded private groups owned by a couple of billioners, that agree on prices and lobby their own interests, forcing the population to live always under a chokeing debt (average of 75% of salary) without treatments or medicines, to grow old contempling suicide so not to be a burden on their families, and to die leaving everything they owned to banks.
Human rights have been violated everyday, systematicly since the 18th of Oct 2019, when the protests became nation wide.
Although the process has begun towards a new constitution to replace the one made during a dictatorship, tensions are growing...
