Rainbow Bee-eater (Merops ornatus). Not a great day for photography due to the overcast, but a nice moment captured with this breeding pair of Rainbow Bee-eaters. The pair will dig a metre-long burrow in the sand to protect the eggs, and both work diligently to incubate and feed their young. #birds #nature #Australia #myphoto
