He tells us the outcome on his side: "Grand Debate is a fake, Questions were filtered, a high number of police forces stormed the city, people outside subjected to identity and physical checks, as invited, I wanted to speak as well, but pointless. we were all surprised to notice that a government minister was selected to chair the debate. on 13 departments, from 2 to 3 representatives per department, several Regional Prefects, the President of the Regional and department Councils, and other official representatives were invited as well. only ONE mayor, as the President of departmental associations of rural mayors found a way to raise his voice. but to note, no comment about 'gilets jaunes", The People in general, to me and other mayors, all this sounds like a 'masquerade'! It is obvious while listening to all speeches in this day's debate that Macron election campaign is already under way. Here again, enormous costs have been incurred from the State's resources, with taxpayers' money! not to mention one-thousand police forces across the area, then, the Grand debate was followed by a reception hosted by and for President of the Regional and department Councils, MPs, one hundred mayors! but what about grievances? No debate! In fact, Macroon let us know that he will not be changing course. Not a word about the most wealthy people of france who do NOT pay a single €uro in respect of the solidarity tax on wealth (ISF) but intention appears to be resulting in fewer public services again!
