At some point or another, we all ponder the miracles of life itself. How in the hell did this amorphous being turn into this thing you call… “Sarah” or “Mike” while also sitting on a couch, eating a cheeseburger while watching your favorite show on the telly? How did we learn to call this life? How did we so willingly move into these spheres of existence, and especially without ever pondering or pausing to think: “How did we get here? Why am I calling myself these strange names, and playing these strange games? Is there not a greater game to play?” Upon watching movies set in a fantastic utopia set in a sci-fi future where everything seems possible, nothing seemed foreign or out of place. It’s strange. The state of our affairs, the state of our world seems to be beyond sci-fi. Even within wild renditions in artistic video games, or among children in their play time, there seems to be a better alternative so blatantly better and easier. It seems to be made of completely good creative genius, but never taken too seriously as it is scoffed at by the nearest wealthy passerby, but secretively, oh so threatened by its utterance. Perhaps our current reality seems more akin to a terrible dystopia comedy, where the only ones laughing are those who watch the homeless get evicted from the nearest park. So without any more random metaphors as to elaborate a somewhat mystical or naive escapism concept, I’d like to elaborate on what I’m trying to convey. I’m talking about something practical, something real that can exist by following procedures, step by step. An assimilation of something that we as a collective could call ‘A Collective Calling’, or a ‘Collective Endeavor’. And what kind of endeavor would bring about something we’ve desperately dreamed of? Take a look at everything we’ve ever created at this point.
