The Minds Token is an ERC20 token worth 1000 impressions/$1.25USD…but that is only part of the story. The truth is hidden; a hushed secret, rumored in gatherings and whispered in encryption. It can be discovered by those willing to look beyond the code and into the black cavern of minds. Here—if you move just right—there is a point of light that reveals the reality of The Token. I found it. I grabbed it and held it in cupped hands…and this is what I found… The Token is relational currency. It is a transaction of love and builds equity in the economy of humanity. It is one creator saying to another, “Keep going. Your work matters.” It is a word of encouragement to the desperately isolated, “I see you. You’re not alone. This day will pass and tomorrow will be better.” It is reconciliation after argument, “We don’t agree but I still love you and your thoughts are just as valuable as mine.” It’s an outstretched hand to someone who doesn’t look like you or speak the same language. It’s a make-shift flirt in the middle of the night and a blurry-eyed smile in the morning. It is a process of feeling. The value is held uniquely by the one who sends it and is a reciprocate shape of the one who receives it. It is the shared memory of two minds mending one another. Many who are new here ask about The Token. Let’s be sure we tell them the whole truth. #minds #photography #gifs #cryptocurrency #creativity ------------------- Photo credit: Blake Cheek Original gif by me: @bekanode

...and I wasn't sure if the words were my own or someone else's, but they were there and I could not hide from them...

I like to make weird surreal compositions. I did this collage a while ago by layering magazine pictures & my photos on a lightbox. I forgot about this picture - I sort of disregarded it in the past, because I don't like to use magazine pictures in my work due to possible copyright issues. I know it's such a gray area, and so many artists use magazine pics in their collages without even thinking about copyright... #digitalart #digitalcollage #surrealart #art #artist
