AN OLD STORY A tale is told of a crafty thief who who chose to live a life full of crime,,stealing from the neighborhood. Day to day he was captured in the mainstream media and profiled as a dangerous individual. Imagine being wholly dependant on mischief to earn a living by scrupulous means. One day the thug and is friends are tracked down by the police, all his colleagues are shot dead but he escapes death.what do you think happened after that awful experience? Did you know ? There is a thief mentioned in the Bible. The repentant thief, in a spur of moment he realizes that this man that is mocked,spit on, ridiculed, is surely his personal Savior Jesus Christ. But what promise did he receive? What did Jesus Christ assure him of? That “today you will be with me in paradise ” Friends we might not share the same story with the repentant thief. Am imagining that he didn’t even had a chance to get the good news, lived in crime. Friends this is a challenge to us, Jesus Christ our Savior died for us so we could be reconciled to our Father, our Maker creator of the heavens and the earth.
