The State of California has ensured that PG&E has no incentive to raise it's safety standards by passing legislature that allows them to simply raise rates on their customers to make up for costs of legal fees resulting from the fires they cause. 80% of fresh water, millions upon millions of gallons of water a day being dumped into the ocean. And finally, the absolutely horrific environmental laws within the state, contributing to denser, drier forests. Making it a prime candidate for some of the worst fires on record. This state has blood on it's hands. It truly is time to start anew.
