This letter is just for reference, the important part is her role in the election. @CQDYER might want to watch this race in particular. Gilford/Meredith is a fairly solid republican district; in the last three terms one Dem has held one of the four seats but only for one term. For some reason unknown to me Ms. Leadbeater is running as an independent although, having heard her speak, she is as 'progressive' as any Dem. It's pretty clear that she is well known and respected in the county, and if she were running as a Dem she would likely be a strong contender. Perhaps people really are tired of the duopoly, if so then she may pick up a seat. But if the tribes stick to their programming, she will be dividing the Dem votes. If you bothered to read the letter, you'll notice she recommends 'bullet' voting (ha, that's rich); she knows politics.
