Ok, this is a little bit f***d up , emh I mean disturbing. Spreading the leftist propaganda is one thing but indoctrinating kids is a whole different level. At September 8 at 18:45 CET, czech public broadcasting medium Czech TV (ČT) in the children’s channel Déčko (letter D, or homonyme with “děcko” - a child) commited the worst propaganda piece I have seen in almost 30 years since the fall of the Iron curtain. They put a piece of sh**, I mean journalism, into their “Zprávičky” (Newslets) programme aimed to children 4+ yo. The clip is in the link at the time mark 3:00. Because it is in czech language without english subtitles I will try to describe the content. https://www.ceskatelevize.cz/ivysilani/10265744641-zpravicky/218411000160908 [News anchor] On the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel, poor children are worried that there will be no one to teach them. The education fundings were provided by richer western countries and distributed by UN. But USA did not send any money this year and hence the Palestinian education is underfunded. [Reporter] 100,000 children in Gaza strip (sic!) go to school. But their principals have not enough money to paychecks for 22,000 teachers on the occupied Palestinian territories. The are not enough fundings for textbooks and other supplies. [Ranin Amer - a school girl from Gaza strip] The families can not buy things for the school for their children, textbooks nor clothing. Yet we want to learn as good as we can so we could use the knowledge to better counter the occupation. [Reporter] Since this year the money came from the US funding. But United states cut off their funding by hundreds of millions dollars. The pupils and teachers hope that the cuts will be at least partially fixed by donations from European countries. So much for the news for four year old kids… Needless to say, that regardless of EU policies on siding with and funding Hamas, etc. the official Czech position on Israeli-Palestinian conflict is we are standing proudly on the side of Israel. So the question is, why are we obliged to pay TV licence fee (similar to british BBC funding) to let the public broadcast machinery indoctrinate our children’s heads with leftist anti-zionist propaganda? They are spewing the left-liberal point of view all the time in news, but up to this day they were at least a bit more careful in shows for children. So if you are concern, interested in this topic, have contacts in Israel politics, please spread awareness about this issue, because this might be your concern too very soon. EDIT: The current state is that according to appeal to some MPs there will be hearing of director of Czech TV in parliament concerning this issue. But I am somehow skeptical that it will be for any good, this is just a beginning... #czech #israel #news #propaganda #politics
