Unification needs freedom of thought. Non-conformity is essential as long as it's honest and not contrarian for the sake of it as a lazy devil's advocate. Devil's advocate is useful but as a tool (comedic and echo chamber breaker) and not an ideology in itself which we fall into out of stubbornness and ego. Let the facts and evidence speak for itself with ruthless peer review and desire to improve our understanding over time.
