Finally got my camera back out and theres something about this that gives me a feeling of satisfaction when I look at it. Taken using a Canon 7D with a 50mm Macro lens.

Lavender Rose Chasing Its Shadow

This is one of the "survivors" from the deep freeze of two winters ago, surprisingly enough. This highly fragrant rose has ALWAYS been "touchy". It was reduced to one new cane which we nursed for a long time. Lavender has always been a favorite rose color [among many]! ;o)
