I very much admire those who have the courage to stand up to authority and don't let them abuse it. Because they will just do it again and again. Edward is a true American hero.

People don't seem to really educate themselves, it's too hard to, it's a lot easier to listen to someone else's opinions and take them as fact, thus we believe. We don't really know anything, we are a nation of believers, and we are divided in our beliefs, whether it's religious, or political, or driven by sciences, even atheists believe even though they will never admit it, they use faith to guide their lives like the rest of us. Some people are attracted to the mainstream, others like taboo, but one is not more correct than the other I've found. Because of our faith we are extremely vulnerable to the "Fake propaganda news" which all sides deliver equally which we will never believe because we will never be able to look at our beliefs non-biasly....
