I've always enjoyed Van Gogh's work. It's sort of like wine in that as it gets older it's better whereby one's eyes are less clear making the paintings more cohesive & vibrant. "The first fall auction of the season at Christie’s (this past Monday) was solid, if low energy. There were several empty seats, and some bids had to be coaxed out from the room. The painting eventually sold for $81.3 million with fees, just shy of setting a new auction high."
