I'm French, here's my summary of the upcoming elections: The results are really hard to predict. There are four candidates with real chances at going to the second turn. All 4 are around 20-22% at the polls. They are: Marine Le Pen; a crazy socialist; a free-market conservative; and a slightly less free-market soft-leftist. This election has considerable chances of greatly changing the fate of the world, but people are going to vote on it based on the most irrelevant factors you can imagine.
