NZZ documents the fact that nuclear keeps producing while wind energy dropped off during the heat wave
Solar energy output increased - during daytime hours, but obviously goes to zero by night. They claimed that wind would compensate for the missing solar energy, but during this heat wave - which is due to the almost total absence of wind - there's no wind energy.
So Germany currently has to rely on nuclear power from France.
