We got a kitten a few months ago.... It's mostly been a smooth transition... I say mostly smooth because my polydactyl cat HATES the kitten for some reason, she starts fights with her numerous times a day.... The interesting part is that our dog sort of adopted the kitten, and treats her like it's her baby. When fights start, the dog swoops in to protect her baby, breaking up the fight. The dog has taken on a new role in the home: kitteh mediator.
