It's weird. I can usually spell Middle Eastern words correctly, just based on some VERY BASIC Arabic experience I had with people in Iraq during my deployment in 2009. I read SO MANY government papers interlaced with their words, that it blended at times. They write backwards, too, which is confusing at the start, since I'm English. I have VERY BASIC fluency in Arabic.
