Japan and Taiwan 2025

🌴✈️ It took 16 hours flight time to go from from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) airport to Taipei's Taoyuan Airport (TPE). Much like Tokyo's Narita airport, Taoyuan is far from the city center, so you can expect to add about an hour to your trip depending on your mode of transportation. Fortunately, this city has changed quite a lot since my last visit, and there is now an MRT rail line connecting the airport to Taipei Main Station. Taipei Main Station connects to the rest of the island's West coast via bullet train, so it's a sensible first stop.
