Had Trump been serious about deporting illegals he'd have started in red states in the south and flyover country. Sure, each of those states have fewer illegals than Californistan does. BUT, clearing those states will mostly avoid the major press outrage and you'll have no riots and you'd make significant progress toward your goal fairly easily and gain some extra support. Additionally, you suck wind out of many complaints from leftards when you have cleared states that are still functional.
