@0SumG this thought just came to me regarding the use of "headlines" to capture attention:
there are so many sensational headlines, all demanding attention, that to add one more "catchy" phrase to the pile, even if it is the most important message ever crafted, will still be swimming in the same ocean of BS as all the rest. so, without pandering, without dumbing-down, and without sensationalism, what is the key to genuine connection?
