Do not trust China. China is asshole. AKshully. It isn't the panels but the inverters to convert DC to AC and put the power on the grid that is the problem. These components are connected to the internet so that they can receive updates, BUT... Additional, undocumented channels of communication, including radio, have been found in the equipment. This could allow China to spy on our power grid.
