Not to mention one of Gene's most underrated roles was as the paranoid conspiracy theorist who goes on the run with Will Smith in ENEMY OF THE STATE (1998). Nobody else seems to be mentioning this but it was the first thing I thought of when I heard this news. Food for thought.
