When you can play games more often its nice to have a lot to say. Especially since the metaphor demo was so long. This is a scene form the game I doubt you'll meet her during the demo though. And thats too bad considering the job system lets you build up up anyone you want once she joins you might want this girl around justy to admire how she looks in those small brown shorts.

We are all still waiting for the wave of new games they call broketober. Yet while we wait there are some less mainstream games you might want to try.

Rom hacking has a new Final Fantasy six mod, it has been too long. This one mostly keeps the original game intact. However, the dialogue has been adjusted, many character models have been changed to look like they do in the menu and there is even an extra boss battle in Bannon's path after the river ride. Other than that combat is slightly harder but not so much you'll have to go out of your way to grind. What a shame mod is either incomplete or has a game breaking glitch. Directly after Terra discovers her past and rejoins the game crashes. Maybe if you work through a vanilla version and load that save in the modded game you can skip the glitch and carry on as normal. It is worth a try.

The Mega Man eight 2d edit for made from scratch for the PC is also more complete. While many of the bugs can be fixed, and you should be able to defeat Sigma this game is much harder than the Snes X trilogy that inspired it. Further more unlike the PS2 version of X eight this version only has one playable character. At least that gives the game more of a retro feel. In order to make feel more like a lost Snes release check if you can change the keyboard controls to match what you use in emulation. Good controls could also make this game slightly easier.

Metaphor has a long demo, one of the longest since That Lunar eternal blue one you can still find if you dig a little deeper. It is enough to show you almost all the game's key features including its battle and social systems that feel similar to Persona five. Funny thing is instead of capturing monsters to use them for their magic this game has a Final Fantasy five style job system that even requires you to change your equipment. Luckily any teammate can use any job and two can have the same job. At times sharing one and its learned magic is a good way to take advantage of boss weaknesses. You'll have trouble beating the second boss in the demo without suing that method. Since nothing about the Metaphor's various mechanics are complicated you'll get used to the game long before it's demo ends. As for the story its one of the better conspiracy tales about having to deal with those in power as much as you do monsters. A long demo is the best it is wonderful to get to know all the great characters and their world before you are cut off. Let's hope this game really does come to the PS4 so we can get it for ten dollars cheaper on day one. Anyway, three whole dungeons with two bosses, one large town more than a total hour of cutscenes should be enough to leave any gamer satisfied.

Rise of Cobra should be the second to last of the great beat em ups inspired by late 80s cartoons. We are still expecting the one based on Toxic Crusaders that may have the largest amount of starting playable characters of them all. While rise of cobra doesn't do a bad job of capturing the appeal of the three before it as well as adding something new, a large supply of guns you cna shoot to lower the enemies numbers. It can also be made the easiest of the three simply by choosing the right fighter. Snake eyes have a longer reach than even most of the standard enemies, and he can summon a dog to help trim the crowds or weaken bosses. If you are good enough at brawlers you might be able to finish half the game without losing a life using snake.

Iron meat takes so much inspiration from the great Contra titles it is even as short as the Nes and Snes releases. Yet, that means you'll likely finish your main play through in less than two hours. That's not such a bad thing, for those of us who have a large backlog it lets us see all the best things iron meat has to offer, mostly the wonderful monster designs and then move on. Yet, if you'd rather stay a while longer there are a lot of character skins to unlock. While collecting them all will require hours of grinding, and you might not want to fully commit there is no harm in playing through until you get what you want. Too bad all the skins must be unlocked in order.

The second of our four great fighters Karate Kid street rumble is also a little too short. Sure it's a fun ride and we all love beating up a small army as one person. It just feels like they could have included more. Even the ending feels like just a pat on the back. Among other things adding three playable characters would be great. They need to acknowledge the fourth karate kid movie also it's remake that featured Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. From those two movies alone you can get three more fighters maybe another ten stages.

Not long after the fifth day Bloom Town starts to feel more like 2d overhead Persona than Earth Bound. Even the combat system bares a resemblance to the fifth game which seems to be one of the most beloved. The only problem is it can be harder to collect demons than in P 5. What really sets this game apart is when you are outside the dungeon bloom becomes a mission based adventure. It is likely you'll have to complete story themed assignments in order to enter the dungeon. Somehow that's better than just following personal events. Hiking across a large town can be a drag, but that could be just an early game issue that gets solved later on.

It seems like For spoken doesn't open up even after you leave the first real town. While the map expands and appears wide you are mostly stuck on a linear path surrounded by high mountain walls. Worse yet your magical run can't climb the walls. It is good on flat surfaces but not much else. The contained nature of the game could almost be enough to make you wonder why Enix didn't just make the game a linear stage based journey like Uncharted. Still the shooting can be fun and although you aren't able to wonder much there are some things to be found off the beaten path.

After Gnal's death Sea of Stars might leave you lost if you weren't paying close attention. It is the only time the game truly opens up. Hence, before rushing to the next destination you may want to go treasure hunting or grind for levels. Once you've had your fill finding direction online shouldn't be too hard. Yet, the only way to be sure of the writers direction is to do what they say and see if it works for you. When you've regained your footing the game goes Linear again and puzzles come into play, even crossing the starry ocean is a puzzle. Good thing nothing they force on you after Gnal is any more difficult than what they expect of you before his death. Losing a teammate isn't the only change your party goes through towards the end of the game. When you reach the abandoned factory your ninja removes her mask. A few more maps over Gnal's replacement joins and the last big team change before the game ends is you alchemist quits and leaves a substitute in his place. At least a silent puppet won't go on about his code as an excuse to sit out a fight. Sea of Stars should be coming to an end soon.

Going from Zita the space girl to legends of, could make you feel like you are missing something. Especially since in the book she is famous for an adventure we haven't quite read about. Still this is a much better read then the first and her cross-over since Zita never been cuter than she is here. You will love how she handles being famous, and this book has a villain. Although she is a clueless one whose only plan is to replace Zita. Plus she reforms and sort of does the right thing in the end. In addition to more strange creatures Piper's female companion appears here as well. This book leaves us with a cliffhanger. Maybe there is a fourth book before she joins forces with mighty Jack since Zita's robot double appears in the crossover. It might be enough to make you want to research how many Zita and Mighty Jack books were printed.

The next big movie to track down is the wild Robot, although it wasn't published by Disney it would be a good fit for their film library. By now it should be available on both Afdah and Flixtor. It is all a matter of finding a copy you can watch that has fair video and audio.

If you like to own animation on disk, Castlevania Nocturne is half off on Blue ray. While we all love a grand discount even at a lower price they are still asking a little over twenty for just eight episodes. For those of us who would rather spend time than money downloading the series one episode at a time is a better deal, and you'll get the same quality rather you pay or not. It is always nice to be reminded of important things, you might want to rewatch the series to prepare for Nocturne season two which should add Alucard. Too bad it won't feature an adult Maria. Yet, with all the key players together perhaps the end for season two will be the beginning of Symphony of the night.

Dragon age four going gold means we shouldn't have to wait long for the game to be on selves. Perhaps a month maybe two for disk and game box printing. Yet, even when the game is ready to buy you might not want to rush in. A high profile release like this coming out will be big news. Therefore, finding video reviews shouldn't be an issue. We might even get opinions from high profile tubers. Our biggest concern should be the reworked battle system. Bioware changing over from shooter to a point and click strategy could go badly and ruin the whole experience. We'll all find out soon enough.

Due to the first movie being a success regardless of how it was reviewed a sequel is already being worked on. It is far too soon for any of the actors or insiders to confirm much about five nights 2, but the returning performers hope this one will be scarier than the first. They would have to try to make it less creepy. Five nights one was a bit of a drag until the last thirty minutes. Just like an older horror film. One of the kind that end up either forgotten or praised for their killer and graphics scenes. A five nights movie should be more than that. Anyway, while we don't know much for sure, it is safe to assume this film will take place after the first movie and have several returning characters played by the same actors.

It is wonderful to finally find out more about the quiet place movie game, that seems loosely inspired by the most recent movie. While it likely won't feature any of the film's characters it will take place around the same time. Your journey will begin as soon as the aliens invade. In the game you are expected to survive at least one hundred and one days. Your journey will take the hundred, and you'll need one to feel safe at your destination. The fun is not only will you have to survive the creatures, you'll be caught in the chaos when it was at its height. Another thing that won't be easy is playing the game in the first person where your guy is only a pair of hands. Plus as much as you want to the game likely won't let you fight back. Just being able to shoot them all down Doom style would make the game too easy. Being killed in a hit or two is more of a challenge.

On the PS5 Sonic frontiers is down to twenty, star ocean two remake just hit thirty, Robocop rouge city is under forty and Dragons Dogma is forty if you buy it online. The PS4 has the outer worlds and untitled goose game for seventeen each. As for the switch Silent hope day one edit which includes the soundtrack and art book has gone on sale for thirty. That isn't bad for the best version.

Sega has just finished the second of their series of animated shorts intended to promote the coming Sonic and Shadow game. Here they show shadow with Maria long before the events of Sonic one for the Genesis. You can see here before he went edgy and became one of Sonic's best rivals he spent most of his time with Maria, it shouldn't take long before you see the appeal in her. Rather it fully covered in these shorts or in the coming game it will be nice to see events many of us have only heard about play out. Funny thing is the coming Sonic movie plans to put their spin on the story also. Till 2025 there will be no escaping this story for a Sonic fan.

Don't forget Horizon Lego adventures is due next month. Pre-orders have been active for days, but this shouldn't be our first Lego game. Try checking to see if a Lego game came for the PS2 that would be a fine intro to the gaming Lego universe before you jump towards this lighter and sillier version of zero dawn. Even so you can't deny the appeal. Especially if they turn an otherwise complicated and hard game into a simple third person action game. Furthermore, silly outfits and not having to fight alone so often certainly helps.

Even though many of us would prefer to play the demo ourselves a video from an insider is enough to give us a general idea of what to expect. Seems like Fantasin will take many cues from older games such as brining back random encounters, menu-driven battle system and even a large team. While most of us would rather watch an insider demo than read about it, we can all be grateful for info outside the latest controversy. Based on our writer's opinion other than the censorship, which was a total waste of design time since the camera will be zoomed out for more than half the game everything sounds great. From a battle system with a third person camera to an adventure that just looks better and is easier to understand than the Nes first edition. As for the other mechanics we can only hope they will be close to what we got used to in eleven and nine although a spell more reliable than Zing would be nice also.

This project looks amazing for a fan game, but the author should be careful about being so open with it. Nintendo has a bad rep when it comes to dealing with fans such as these.
