If there is a hidden meaning beneath all this meaningless drivel, it's their desperate fear of non-govt money (i.e. crypto, e.g. bitcoin). People using bank transfers and electronic payments rather than cash is irrelevant, because everything they do with their commercial bank accounts and cards is still necessarily using the government's NZ dollar.
