money is effectively a magical talisman, it has no practical use in and of itself, and it's value is entirely subjective (faith based). people accept money in the hopes that others will accept it in return, for what is indeed desired or required to sustain life. it has no use, and hence no value in and of itself. it's use and value require imagination, and are subject to manipulation.
