When all grows still and naught is right
When all falls dark and turns to night
Who will come to bring the light
To turn the black into the bright
When shadows bring death to sight
When deaf and dumb they’re forced to fight
Who will bring days dawning might
To cast against midnights blackened spite
When darkness holds then all in fright
When nothings true and nothings right
Who will hold back evenings bite
And dawn the morn with mothers light
