The Founding Fathers had no idea of the Internet or social media, but they knew free speech to be essential to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” They abandoned everything to defend it. Now that we have these powerful tools, we must live up to the same standard they set, and protect free speech, so future generations will be free as well.
