Made my first Colpitts oscillator last night. Here it is oscillating at 26.5 MHz but by replacing one of the capacitors with a 10 pF and just using my scope probe parasitic capacitance for the other capacitor, I managed to get it up to 53 MHz. Ive mever delved into RF stuff before but I can tell this is going to be fun 😄. Also my first time hand-winding my own inductor.
