Just filled up the car at €1.73/L - $7.01/USgal thanks to some jerry cans I filled a month ago. Filling the jerry can back up at €2.029/L - $8.23/USgal. You can't store petrol long term sadly, not without additives, but you should at least keep one car refill handy.
