Frogo SocalRight ScionofLiberty I'd wager that decay is caused by either no ventilation behind the wood, so it's rotting out, or not enough overhang to protect from the worst of the sun. I hate seeing houses in hot climates where there's minimal overhang, when spending that small bit more makes such a huge difference on comfort and material longevity.
