the fiddlehead fern becomes a rapidly spreading monster in the right spot. Ferns are usually a bit delicate, but this one really does it all as long as it stays in partial shade. I have several of them in pots combined with other shade-loving perennials and it works, if maintained right. Be prepared to reduce it from time to time! #perennials
