Manchester United are confident of taking a strong squad on the Australian leg of their pre-season tour despite stringent vaccination rules remaining in place. United are on Thursday set to announce details of their first trip in three years, which includes a meeting with Liverpool in Bangkok on July 12. The squad, who by then will have a new manager in charge, will move on to Australia. Both Melbourne and Perth have been mooted as potential destinations for up to three friendlies.
