Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios revealed Novak Djokovic reached out to him in an attempt to get a better understanding of the Australian community's stance. Djokovic didn't get vaccinated before the start of the season but he was granted a medical exemption for the Australian Open. After landing in Melbourne, Djokovic was met by the Australian Border Force and had his visa canceled. Djokovic was then placed in detention, where he spent the next few days before winning his appeal in court and getting his visa back.
