Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau This area is a fantastic place to fish and it’s actually one of the best places to catch trout in Europe. It also happens to have Europe’s largest stock of reindeer, so no doubt you will bump into some on your adventures. There are some cabins you can stay in if you decide not to brave the cold, but you can literally throw your tent down anywhere and start fishing straight away.
