While it is purely speculation at this point whether there will be a Scream 6, there is undoubtedly more mayhem, old-fashioned jump scares, and bloodshed in Woodsboro’s future. Although quirky former Woodsboro sheriff Dewey Riley (Arquette) gets killed off in Scream 2022, Sidney Prescott (Campbell) and enterprising writer/reporter Gale Weathers (Cox) survive and even act as mentors in helping solve the latest round of grotesque serial murders.
