Michael Lang, an organizer and producer of Woodstock, dies at 77
Lang helped organize not only the original 1969 Woodstock but also the 1994 Woodstock, as well as the disastrous 1999 Woodstock.
Michael Lang, an organizer of the iconic 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair music festival, has died. He was 77.
Lang's death was confirmed by a representative, Maureen O’Connor, who said he died of complications due to lymphoma in New York City.
