At the risk of sounding cheesy, the best thing about Christmas this year was my girlfriend's reaction to the gift I got her. It was something I remembered her saying she wanted in a one off conversation months ago. She was so happy. Then we spent the rest of the day together binge watching netflix curled up on the couch together. To think, last year I thought I'd never find someone like who would appreciate me like this. Best Christmas in years.
