Lol China’s been capable of mounting a full scale invasion of Taiwan for years now. It’s just a question of whether the benefits of taking it(control over the semiconductor industry, increased economic output etc.) are worth the potential costs(military casualties especially if the US gets involved, international backlash, Taiwanese ballistic missiles hitting cities on the mainland etc.).
