Marble lace handkerchief, masterfully carved by Louis-Philippe Mouchy in 1781, for the posthumous statue of the Duke of Montausier, Charles de Sainte-Maure. The nobleman was one of the guardians of the Great Dauphin of France, Louis, son and heir of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The work is now on display in the Louvre Museum.
